The Bitcoin Beach Wallet has officially changed its name to “Blink” to better reflect its vision of becoming the best tool for bottom-up Bitcoin adoption. It was launched in 2020 as part of the Bitcoin Beach project’s goal of creating a circular economy for El Salvador’s El Zonte. Blink plans to make it easier for users to onboard and use bitcoin by enabling them to set their local currency in Q2 2023.
